Do your own fundraising

Our care is only possible because of your support and donations. Fundraise for us and help to ensure nobody has to face a life limiting illness alone.

The first step in planning your fundraising event or activity is in an idea of what you want to do. Just in case you need a little inspiration, we have included all of the fun ideas and necessary information you need to help make your fundraising a success!

Work
Fundraising at work is easy! There are many ways you and your colleagues can fundraise at work and here are some of our tried and tested ideas to help get you started.

Bake sale
Get some of your colleagues to bake their best showstoppers! A fun and easy way to bring in the dough!

Sponsored silence
A golden oldie but works a treat. Why not try to get the whole team involved or maybe even your manager?

Abandon your car
Get sponsored to walk or cycle to work each day.

Hold a dress down day
Ask everyone to ditch their work wear and bring a pound in.

Get an exercise bike
Hold a cycling relay in the office! How quick can you and your colleagues cycle from Middlesbrough to London? Get your family, friends and colleagues that are not taking part to sponsor you.

Give something up
Get sponsored to leave your beloved mobile at home, deactivate Twitter or stop buying your favourite daily coffee!

Don’t forget to let us know how you plan to fundraise by registering your event! Once you have got in touch, you will be able to request fundraising materials such as posters, balloons and collection tins.
