Andrew took part in our Tour de Teesside fundraiser this year and raised an amazing £700 as he cycled 200 miles throughout July! Read Andrew’s story as he shared his experience cycling for Teesside Hospice.
Cyril is one of our Wellbeing Centre patients and we sat down with him to listen to his experience at the Wellbeing Groups and sessions here at Teesside Hospice. "My condition is that I’ve lost my left leg, and I’m unable to walk, which has closed a lot of things down in my life. But the main thing is, groups like this still allow me to get out there and try new things.”

Nick Sibly, Andrew Sibly, and their friend Graeme recently took on a 82km walk in 24 hours in memory of their dad Derek Sibly!
Derek recently stayed in our specialist in-patient unit, and wanted to show his gratitude for the amazing experience he had at the hospice.
Meet Kerry, our amazing volunteer who shares why volunteering means so much to her. "I wanted to help out at a hospice, and as soon as I saw that Teesside Hospice were looking for volunteers, I couldn’t wait. I wanted to give something back, and to know that I’m helping out is great.”

Denise has recently been referred to our Wellbeing Centre. She shares how she doesn’t know what she would do if it wasn’t for the group sessions she attends, and how they motivate her to feel good about herself each week.
