Teesside Hospice Volunteer Internship Programme

The Teesside Hospice Internship programme is a one-three month voluntary placement, offering an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the local community and the care we provide.

Internships are based at either our Fundraising Office or Hospice and involve volunteering for up to three days a week, usually during general office hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm).

To join our internship programme you must be 18 years of age. Whether you’re a graduate, undergraduate, looking for a career change or simply returning to work, we will try our best to find a role for you.

We have internship roles available right across our organisation including Retail, Marketing, Community Fundraising, Corporate Partnerships and much more.

During your time at Teesside Hospice you might be involved in organising an event, developing a part of a campaign, supporting a team to deliver a project or conducting research.

What we offer you

  • A chance to gain insight into the operations of a local charity
  • Reasonable travel expenses
  • On-going support
  • An opportunity to develop transferrable skills to support career development
  • A challenging, inclusive and exciting intern experience

If you want to register your interest for the 2017 intake of our Volunteer Internship Programme, please contact volunteering@teessidehospice.co.uk
